You know it’s coming. Apple has released a new version of the iPhone every year since the original came out in 2007. Whether it’ll be as imaginatively-named, or as game-changing, as the iPhone 4, it will at least be faster and more powerful in some way … and on Verizon’s network, too. The combination does not bode well for competing smartphone makers.
